Milka, one of my friends at work, emailed me a link to this site. You gotta check it out. Look up the year you were born, the year you graduated high school, the year you were in 8th grade...whatever. It's fun.
I'm posting mainly to just get that hideous picture off the front of my site. Geez, what is that he/she thing? I can't believe I didn't say anything about it earlier, but Jacinda and I made the trip down to LA last weekend to attend the Passion Regionals Tour Conference. It was so amazing and refreshing. During every break we had, we would just talk about what God was doing in us. How we felt, what we were thinking, what touched us the most...it was amazing. Just going to a "church" event and having something to talk about was nice. We were definitely stretched in more ways than one. The rawness of the conference speakers coupled with the worship...amazing. They had 3 "Justice" causes that I'd love to talk about later, but for now I just want to know if anyone else was there?
It's been on a couple blogs today, but go check out www.hairmixer.com and you can mash your mug with a celebrity's hairstyle. This is what me and Catherine Zeta-Jones would produce... scary. Jacinda said, "well, that's what you would look like if you were a drag queen!"
For the record, you can check out Dustin and Los' blogs.
I work in the Financial Services industry, so I get a lot of investment type jokes. I thought this one was funny enough to put up for everyone:
Dan was a single guy living at home with his father and working in the family business. He found out one day that his sickly father had a fortune that he was to inherit. When he heard the news, he decided that he should find a wife to share his wealth with.
One evening at an investment meeting, he spotted the most beautiful woman he had ever seen. Her natural beauty took his breath away. "I may look like just an ordinary man," he said to her, "but in just a few years, my father will die, and I'll inherit 20 million dollars." Impressed, the woman obtained his business card and three days later...
she became his stepmother.
Women are so much better at estate planning than men.
Jacinda and I rented Hairspray last week. I'm always a little slow to pull the trigger on movies like this. I don't know why. Everyone loved it in the theater, but we still didn't go. Something about it, just makes me think it won't be good, but I really liked it.
This guy James Marsden is starting to really turn up in a lot of movies. Lois Lane's husband in Superman Returns (which I own), Prince Edward in Enchanted (which was good too), and now he's going to be in 27 dresses (heard was terrible).
Oh, another movie we recently watched, well I watched, Jacinda slept, was "A Good Year" with Russell Crowe. I don't know if it was my mood or what, but I really enjoyed it.
my boy just came out from comcast and got me all hooked back up. We've been without the internet for 2 days. So, we had to go out of town! Actually, it was kind of nice not being "connected" for a little while.
