Golf! Jacinda's uncle is the General Manager of this course up in the mountains and I've played 3 times in the last couple months. I'm playing again on Saturday and can't wait.

I've been looking into all kinds of different clubs because mine are pretty old. I've been hitting right around 100 pretty consistently, but I haven't broken that number in awhile, so that will be my goal this Saturday.

another church bites the dust!!!

Not actually, we just murdered another church's softball team last night. I think the score ended at 11 to 2. I actually lost count (said with a smirk).

It's always fun when you win and that was the semi-final, so we will play in our leagues finals in 2 weeks. I personally went 2 for 3 and almost through a guy out at second (I play catcher) after he lead off a little too far.

another win

Another win for the Peoples Church. We beat Northside 15 to 7 tonight and I went 2 for 3. They are the funnest team to play because most of the guys know each other and we joke around a lot.

So, our undefeated record is still in tact. I have to go pack for our vacation! Do you remember...Hawaii here I come.

I get to leave church early!

Me and some buddies are hitting the golf course today. Jacinda's uncle is actually the pro up at Sierra Meadows, so I'm taking advantage of the hook-up. Can't wait.

Super Bowl Champs!

Colts win! Congratulations to Matt and the whole team. Man, it was exciting to watch. Like I said before, I'm not a huge sportsfan, but I loved watching this game. It's so much better when you're rooting for somebody. Everytime #43 got on the screen we'd clap and my buddy Joe had a direct line to some family at the game. I think this was the first year in awhile that I was more interested in the game than I was the commercials.

Going for the Local Guy!

If you haven't heard, there is a big football game this weekend. I say it like this, because I gotta admit, I'm not the biggest sports fan. In fact, I think this is the first time I've ever used the category filter for "sports" on my blog. Anyway, the guy to the left used to be a little skinny kid who my little brother played with while our mom's were having Bible study. That's right, Matt Giordano's neck wasn't always that big! I am 4 or 5 years older than him, but his sister is the same age as me. I don't know any football stats, but I do know that Matt played for Fresno City College here in town before going to Cal Berkeley, where he became a standout. He now plays for the Colts as # 43.  So make sure you yell for Matt this weekend. Who are the Bears anyways? I've never even heard of them. As always, YouTube comes through and I found this clip where Matt pulls a "Waterboy" on this guy. That's gotta hurt. Go Colts!
