So I've been working out every Monday and Friday at 5am with some guys I used to work with; Brodie and Mike. Brodie has been going to this trainer for awhile now and me and Mike are just like the benefactors of what he has learned.
We start off with this crazy cardio/core kind of stuff. Lots of sit-ups, funky off balance push-ups, planks, jumps, twisting lunges, mountain climbers, etc. This takes the oxygen out of your body so fast, that you can't catch your breath for the rest of the morning.
Then, we head to the workout portion. I guess a lot of what we are doing comes from the same kind of exercises that the guys from "300" did, but I don't have that six pack...yet. Again, in the gym portion it's lot's of weird, never put those two together, kind of movements. We do 30 pull-ups and man, that is hard.
Back to my title. Yep, I threw up. At the gym. I threw up last week too. I just went too hard for too long I guess. Last week I tried to make it outside in the cold air and to my car, but ended up with one hand on my knee and the other on the hood of my car. Today, I thought I could handle it, but nope. At least I made it to the locker room. I hate throwing up. I hate it. I really hate throwing up. You feelin' me?
Oh well, it's been about 30 minutes since then now, I got into the cold air, into the car, drove with the windows down (it was 45 degrees outside), got a protein shake and now eating some yogurt. In an hour, I feel great. It's so weird.
Happy Friday!
